Blade & Soul it's a highly anticipated korean fantasy martial-arts MMORPG published by NCSOFT (Lineage, AION, etc). is a The game uses Unreal Engine 3 so it has beautiful graphics and character design. Release date has yet to be anounced outside of Korea, but it doesn't mean we can't give it a try to know what to expect when it finally comes out.
Actually there's already a private server, don't get all existed yet, it is on a very early stage however i gave it a try and i found it good enough to share it, considering it's such an amazing game.I'm gonna explain how to connect to the server, let's get to it.
1.Downloading:
You need Blade & Soul CBT2, for this google:"Atomix Blade and Soul CBT2 fully updated client + contentdata fi" and download it.
2.Installing:
Locate the download folder on your hard drive, right click "2-Blade_and_Soul_Updated_Client.part1.rar" and "extract here", you need winrar for this or similar.
Once it's done installing, navigate to:
..\B&S\Atomix_Blade_and_Soul_Launcher\Custom Launcher
Run: NCLauncher.exe
When the launcher opens, right click where it says "Blade & soul" click propterties, where it says "install location" click browse and find Client.exe that is located at:
..\B&S\2-BnS_CBT2_fully_updated\BnS_CBT2\Client.exe
Close the launcher.
Alright now you have to apply a little patch:
Unrar contents.rar which is included with the client.
Get inside the contents folder and copy the 2 files that are there:
config.dat
xml.dat
Paste those to files on:
..\B&S\2-BnS_CBT2_fully_updated\BnS_CBT2\contents\data
3.Registering:
You will need to make an account here to login on this server.
4.Playing:
To play the game you have to run NCLauncher.exe that is found here:
..\B&S\Atomix_Blade_and_Soul_Launcher\Custom Launcher
you might want to make a shortcut to that .exe on your desktop.
